No Down Payment Pool Financing: How It Works
Getting an honest price for your pool is one thing — figuring out how to pay for it is another. Here's how our no down payment financing actually works, without the fine print buried at the bottom.
What "no down payment" actually means
It means exactly what it sounds like: you don't need to put money down up front to start your project. Instead, payments are staged to match construction progress — you're paying as the work gets done, not paying in full before a shovel touches the ground.
How the financing itself works
We work with two financing partners, depending on the type of project. New pool construction can be financed through Lyon Financial or Viking Capital. Remodeling projects can be financed through Synchrony Financial.
There are two ways the payments themselves can work, depending on the lender and loan product you choose. With some loans, the funds are disbursed to you, and you then pay Ivero directly as work progresses — this option typically carries a higher interest rate, closer to a personal loan. With others, the lender pays Ivero directly at each construction stage, and you make payments to the lender according to your loan terms. We'll walk you through which of the two applies to the lender you pick.
Applying has to be done by you, the homeowner, since it asks for personal and financial information only you can provide securely. You'll apply through a personalized link for your project, available on our Home page. Pre-approval typically takes about 48 business hours; once you're approved, the next step is signing your financing contract with the lender.

What the terms typically look like
Rates depend on your credit profile, and terms can run up to 20 years depending on the lender and loan product. We also run seasonal financing promotions on our social media, so it's worth checking our channels or asking us directly about any current offers before you apply.
What we can tell you now: you'll see real numbers for your specific project once you're working directly with a lender — not a generic example that doesn't match what you're building.
How payments line up with construction
For most projects, payments to Ivero are staged as follows: 20% at excavation, 30% at completion of the concrete shell, 25% at rough plumbing and electrical, 20% at coping and tile, and 5% at plastering. Some lenders that pay Ivero directly use their own disbursement schedule instead, tied to those same construction milestones — we'll confirm the exact schedule once you've chosen a lender.
Who typically qualifies
Qualification depends on the lender and the specific loan product, and each one evaluates applicants a little differently. Rather than guess at general criteria here, we'll walk you through your real options once we know which lender and program fits your project — that's part of the conversation during your free consultation, working from your actual numbers.
Ask about it at your free consultation
Financing works best when it's discussed against a real quote for your actual project — not a hypothetical. Ask about no down payment financing when we visit your site, and we'll walk through what it looks like for your specific pool.
